We are looking for enthusiastic staff to join our care home and Social Care workforce within the Cynon valley. We provide a high standard and quality of care to individuals with a diagnosis of dementia. You will be required to register as an Adult Care Home Worker with Social Care Wales and undertake relevant qualifications if you do not hold these at time of appointment.
Duties will include personal care of residents, administration of medication, implementation of outcome focused care plans in line with individual’s assessments, promoting choice, respecting individuality, privacy and dignity to our most Vulnerable Adults and adhere to the principles of the Social Services and Well Being (Wales) Act 2014.
You will have a positive outlook and understanding of the needs of older people. Previous experience of working with or spending time with older people would be an advantage.
The successful candidates will be supported to complete the Core Qualification in Health and Social Care a programme designed to prepare you for your new role and go on to achieve your level 2 in Care.
