What skills and experience are we looking for?

The Headteacher and Governing Body of Caradog Primary School are looking to appoint two experienced and enthusiastic teaching assistants who:

• Are enthusiastic, classroom practitioners who strive to provide excellent learning experiences.
• Have very high expectations of themselves and of children, ensuring all pupils make progress.
• Are relationship-centred with pupils and families, demonstrating excellent positive behaviour management skills.
• Support teachers to create a stimulating learning environment in line with the new curriculum requirements.
• Are inclusive practitioners who will work closely alongside children with a range of ALN.
• Are team players who can work productively with colleagues and are committed to inclusion.
• Possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Will contribute to the wider life of the school.
• Demonstrate the ability to be empathetic and understanding to the needs of students.
