Temporary Family Aide Support Worker
We are looking to appoint a motivated and enthusiastic Temporary Family Aide Support Worker who will be attached to the Families Plus Team in the East and West of RCT. The FAST worker role offers support across all the intervention teams in Resilient Families Service.
The role of the FAST worker is to provide a flexible service to families open to the Families Plus Team and other RFS Teams as part of a tailored support package. To undertake practical and domestic tasks in partnership with parents as part of the family plan as identified through the Resilient Families Service assessment process. To work in partnership with other agencies to support families to access services and to contribute to the review of those interventions. There is a requirement to work evenings, early mornings and some weekends if needed.
The successful candidate must possess the Children and Young People level 3 in Health and Social Care (QCF) or predecessor NVQ Level 3 in Caring for Children and Young People or ability to achieve the QCF within 2 years of being allocated an assessor.
The Temporary Family Aide Support Worker is a funded position until 31.03.2026.
