Practitioners work with families up until the Initial Child Protection Conference.

Final Year Social Work Students
RCT has a successful and proven track record of supporting large numbers of students at all levels. Final year students who are successful at interview are offered the opportunity to be employed as temporary Assessor Care Managers from the earliest opportunity until their registration is complete. Furthermore, we understand that transitioning from studies into employment can be a busy time, and therefore hours in advance of taking up a qualified position can be flexible to suit individual needs. Why wait, apply now!
As we are a large local authority and we experience natural turnover, we welcome applications from final year student Social Workers who are qualifying from now until the summer of 2025.
For further information about our current vacancies or to arrange an informal discussion please use our Children’s Services vacancy enquiry form.
