Temporary Teaching Assistant

Hours: 27.5 Hours Per Week – Term Time Only

Salary: Grade 6 - £28,142 x 65.28% (pro rata for working term time)

Post Start Date: ASAP

The Governing Body wish to appoint a temporary Teaching Assistant to work at Cwmlai Primary School to commence work at the earliest opportunity. 

The successful candidate will work primarily in Foundation Learning. 

Good literacy and numeracy skills are essential. 

The successful candidate must be able to work as part of a team in an inclusive learning environment and demonstrate initiative.

You will be required to:

• Work under the guidance of teachers in the classroom.
• Be flexible but consistent in your approach, be reliable and patient, and exhibit a calm professional manner at all times.
• Have good interpersonal skills and the ability to work in a team and form excellent working relationships with pupils, staff and parents.
